In this e-service you can make an application for civil marriage. 

Processing time

Marriage certificat and a certificate of no impediment should be sent to us in the original no later than 14 days before the ceremony.

When we have received the application for marriage and the consideration of impediments to marriage, we can book a wedding officiant. The certificates is valid for four months.

Price for the civil marriage

The ceremony is free of charge if one of you is registered in Nynäshamn. If none of you is registered in Nynäshamn you will pay 700 Swedish kronor.

Other information

• There must be two witnesses over the age if 15 present at the ceremony. You can either bring your own witnesses.
• There is also a possibility to get wittnesses from the municipality if the ceremony takes place under office hours and in the municipality building.
